CRAIG

On-air:  week days 2-7 PM, Saturdays 9-2

Hometown:  originally--Waukon, Iowa: now, Medford

Favorite Rogue artist(s):  Green Day, Metallica, Sether

Hates:  Life is far too short to hate.

When I'm not at the station, I am probably doing homework for the three classes that I'm currently enrolled in at SOU.  When the weather warms, I love to be outside: camping, rafting, swimming, like it all.

If I wasn't on the radio, I would like to drive a truck--I just wouldn't drive it very far.

Favorite food(s):  Thai, especially curries

Favorite movie(s):  probably Goodfellas, although I enjoy books more than movies.

Favorite TV shows:  anything football-related, Daily Show, Simpsons, South Park, Reliable Sources, Sports Reporters

Heroes:  Our soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq certainly have more guts than I possess.  However, people like Greg Mortenson are heroes.  He has used his own time and money to build schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan.  Education, not war, is the answer!

Pet peeves:  hippocrisy, biggotry (religious biggotry included), lack of curiosity, celebrating alcohol while demonizing marijuana

Secret talent(s):  I can name the presidents in order or the 50 states in alphabetical order, kinda dorky, but I'm a History major at SOU

First record ever purchased:  Nick Gilder, "Hot Child in the City," in 1978, it was a 45 record

I can't make it through the day without--coffee, when you work and take classes, caffeine is your friend!

I like living in Medford for the mild winters (I grew up in Iowa, so I appreciate them), the hot, dry summers, the abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities, and the area is big enough to have great restaurants, etc., without many problems of big cities.
