The Harley-Davidson “Night Train” Motorcycle Give-Away” contest will begin on March 31st, , 2008 at 7:20 am  and end at 4:00 pm on June 7,  2008.  The grand prize will be given away on June 7, 2008 at approximately 3 pm at D&S Harley-Davidson, 3846 South Pacific Highway, Phoenix, Oregon..  To participate in the contest, listeners may listen to 1027-The Drive, during the dates of the contest at 7:20 am week day mornings for the announcement, of “The Song of The Day” To be a contest qualifier (a “Qualifier”), listeners must be the 7th caller to the contest lines at 494-1027 when they hear that song played on the air between 7:20am and 7:00pm that day.  1027 The Drive reserves the right to qualify listeners at remote broadcasts done from local businesses too.  All Qualifiers, upon verification of contest eligibility, will be qualified to win the Grand Prize of a Harley-Davidson “Night Train” motorcycle, on June 7, 2008 at  D&S Harley-Davidson, 3846 South Pacific Highway, Phoenix, Oregon.

Listeners may call as often as they like to attempt to be a Qualifier, but a listener may become a Qualifier only once. Only one Qualifier per family, per household. All Qualifiers, with valid Driver’s License will be required to be present on-site at D&S Harley-Davidson, from 11am-4pm on June 7, 2008 for the Grand Prize Drawing.

The contest is open to all 1027-The Drive listeners who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of 1027-The Drive, its licensee, its parent corporation, subsidiaries and affiliates, their advertising agencies, D&S Harley-Davidson, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Southern Oregon area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.  One qualifier will be randomly selected from all entries at D&S Harley-Davidson to win the Grand Prize.

One Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize is a Harley-Davidson “Night Train” motorcycle, approximate retail value of  $18,000.00

The Grand prize winner will be solely responsible for all title, tax, tags, proof of insurance and license and registration fees, as required by the state they reside in, and all Federal, State and Local taxes. The winner will accept the Grand Prize "As Is."  1027-The Drive and D&S Harley-Davidson accept no responsibility for repairing any real or supposed damage to the Grand Prize from this contest. 

Neither 1027-The Drive or D&S Harley-Davidson have made or are responsible in any manner for any warranties, representations, or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or law, relating to the Grand Prize vehicles, including without limitation, its quality, mechanical condition, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose, with the exception of any standard manufacturer's warranty that may apply to the vehicle.

There is no substitution, transfer or cash equivalent for The Grand Prize. The Grand Prize is expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

Decisions of Station Management with respect to the contest are final.

To participate in the Grand Prize event, all Qualifiers, with valid Driver’s License will be required to be present on-site at D&S Harley-Davidson from 11am-4pm on June 7, 2008 for the Grand Prize event.  Qualifiers must check in with a 1027-The Drive staff member by 11:00 pm at the latest on June 7, 2008 in order to be eligible to participate.  Qualifiers who are not present by this time deadline may be eliminated from the contest and may forfeit their chance to win the Grand Prize.

Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.  Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.  By participating in the contest, Qualifiers and Grand Prize winner agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and where legal, to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.

Prior to awarding The Grand Prize  1027-The Drive  in its sole discretion may require contest winners to sign a liability release agreeing to hold KCNA, AKA 1027 The Drive and Opus Broadcasting,  its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

1027-The Drive  reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.

Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of 1027-The Drive.

1027-The Drive  is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
